Process:

First Step

Fill out an adoption application!

The link to our adoption application can be found above.  Please fill it out with as much detailed info as possible.  Feel free to send a follow up message, or message us if you have any questions.  We prefer to have a conversation via phone call as well, for serious inquiries!

Second Step

Complete our Puppy Sales Contract/Agreement and Pay Deposit!

Once you have been matched with a puppy, a deposit is required to claim your puppy and hold until pick up. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.  Deposits are $500 and this IS part of your total adoption fee.  Upon securing your puppy, sign our Adoption Agreement as well. (Link above)

Third Step

Arrange Pick up!

Please keep in contact about arranging a time/date and location for picking up your puppy.

  • Deposits are Non-Refundable, UNLESS something were to happen to your puppy while in Breeders care(which would deem it as "unwell" or "unadoptable").

  • PET only Puppies are not available to be picked out until at least 4 weeks.  I will not promise a puppy to anyone before this time period.  We want time to let the puppies mature, evaluate temperaments, and develop personalities, before we match them with forever families.

  • Often we will hold puppies for further evaluation as show/breeding prospects, which can be up to 12-20 weeks.  If those puppies are not chosen as show/breeding prospects, they will be placed in pet only homes.  There is no discount for slightly older puppies. (They receive extra training, potty training, and further development during this time, so that's a pro for you!)

  • We WILL accept deposits after puppies are a week old to guarantee a pick from the litter, but again, puppies cannot be selected until the 4 week mark!

  • No puppies will be held without a deposit.

  • Deposits can be sent via Venmo, Paypal, or Zelle.

  • We do not ship puppies. (In some instances, we are happy to meet partial way for a small fee or meet you at a dog show, if that option is available)

  • Puppies must be paid in full before or at pick up. Your puppy cannot go home until total fee has been paid.

  • We cannot guarantee size, weight, hair coat, skin conditions, temperament, conformation or training ability of said puppy.  Any information shared with you in these regards is simply the breeder’s best educated opinion.  Many factors, such as diet, environment, grooming routine, and personal training can influence the puppy's growth and development.

  • If you are no longer able to care for your puppy, we reserve the right to first refusal. If you are no longer able to keep your puppy/dog, they must be returned to the Breeder.

  • It is the buyer's responsibility to take the necessary precautions to protect the puppy from dangerous or infectious situations until the puppy has completed its series of proper vaccinations.  All future liabilities and veterinarian bills will be the Buyers responsibility. It is the buyers responsibility to insure each puppy is getting appropriate vet care and age appropriate vaccinations.

  • Please review our recommended vaccine schedule here: Dr. JeanDodds Vac Schedule
