Deposits are Non-Refundable, unless something were to happy to said Puppy in Breeders Responsibility.

Said Puppy will become Property of the Buyer upon Fulfillment of the following contract.

Buyer must take the said Puppy to his/her licensed veterinarian for a health examination within 10 days of recieving puppy. If the buyer does not take the said Puppy to his/her licensed veterinarian after taking possession of said Puppy with in the 10 day period, the entire health portion of this contract becomes null and void. If the dog is diagnosed with a life-threatening genetic disease at this visit, with written documentation from a licensed veterinarian, the dog may be returned to the breeder and either a full or partial refund or a replacement Puppy will be offered.

Health Guaruntee: Effective for ONE YEAR after puppy is in Buyers possision, covering Congenital Defects. Health problems must be deemed "genetic" by a Licensed Veterinarian. Should any genetic disease be diagnosed, that jeopardizes quality of life for the puppy, Breeder will offer a replacement of equal value, when one becomes available. Vet records MUST be provided to Breeder. 

*Health Guaruntee is extended for TWO years if Buyer keeps Puppy on Nuvet Supplements on the entirety of at least the first two years.(Must provide proof)

Breeder is not liable for PRA, Alopecia, or Hernias as they can appear at any age. 

​

The Breeder does not assume any liability for any injury to said Puppy after delivery/pick up and puppy is in Buyers possession.

Breeder assumes no liability for viruses, parasites (internal or external) or bacteria's after the puppy leaves the Breeder. This includes fleas, ticks, worms, mites, giardia and coccidain etc.

Said Puppy is defined to be Purebred Dachshund which is in good health at time of sale, and embodies the characteristics of the Dachshund Breed. This Puppy is purebred and is registerable with the American Kennel Club(Limited Registration Only for Pets).

Historically, Miniature Dachshunds were bred down from Standard Dachshunds. Breeder cannot guarantee that a Standard dachshund gene will not slip through. The Breeder cannot guarantee adult size, color, hair coat, future breeding ability (if purchased with full registration), temperament or trainability of said Puppy. Breeder gives the best estimate known based on parent size and coloring.

The Breeder warrants that said Puppy has been wormed and vaccinated in accordance to its age. Both parties agree that it appears healthy at the time of sale. All appropriate shots for the said Puppy's age have been given and a record of vaccination history is supplied to the Buyer.

The Buyer agrees to maintain the said Puppy's health in good condition and to provide examinations, vaccinations, heartworm medicine and any other usual procedures necessary to assure good health. Buyer agrees to keep puppy well groomed.

There are many factors that can influence growth and development, such as diet, exercise, weight gain etc. The Buyer assumes the responsibility to maintain the said Puppy in good health throughout its normal growth (life) period.

If at any point the said Puppy is not wanted, the breeder must be contacted. The said Puppy can be returned to the breeder at the expense of the buyer. No money will be refunded. Under NO circumstances is the said Puppy to be placed in a shelter or rescue situation or be sold without the Breeders approval.

If you purchased your Puppy with Full AKC registration privileges, you will have the right to show or breed your Puppy. You agree to not breed this Puppy until a minimum of 2 years of age for females and 12 months of age for males.

If you purchased your said Puppy with Limited registration, Buyer agrees to neuter/spay the said Puppy after 24 months, but no later than 28 months of age.

SPAY/NEUTER PENALTY: $2,000.00 penalty fee charged if a litter is produced from canine with limited AKC resgistration privileges. (Refer to Spay and Neuter Contract for full details.)

If choosing to register the puppy with AKC Registration, It is MANDATORY that the buyer register the puppy with AKC within 2 months of purchase.

Breeders name: "HHD" (Hickory Hollow Dachshunds) must be on said Puppies AKC papers, as part of the Puppy's full registration name. If this is not done, AKC will be contacted and mailed a copy of this contract and will be asked to correct the issue.

If there are any disagreements or discrepancies, they must be handled in the State of Pennsylvania, at the buyer's expense in regards to all legal fees.

This Puppy is being given to you free of any known disease or defects. This contract becomes null and void if ownership of the dog changes.

​

The Breeder can offer no further guarantees unmentioned in this agreement, once the care of the said Puppy is no longer under the Breeder's control.

​

I, the BUYER, have read this agreement carefully and fully understand that it is a legally binding contract.
